OUR STORY
Marina and Duncan met in London many moons ago, where they fell in love and have been inseparable ever since. After studying/working in Cape Town for several years, and realising city life was not for them, they were given the opportunity to escape the ‘rat race’ by Marina’s parents, Ria and Andries. The four of them moved up the West Coast together, to open a bed & breakfast on the beach in oh~so sublime Britannia Bay.
Five years down the line the business has gone from strength-to-strength and today they wouldn’t trade their lifestyle for the world. Giving others the opportunity to escape to a place where life is simpler, quieter and more in tune with nature, is what they are all about. They have turned their bed and breakfast into something more than your average beachfront accommodation; creating a refuge for guests to feed their souls and to relieve them of all the accumulated stress city life tends to bring.
