Le Marina B&B

After building my first home on the marina at Marina da Gama in Muizenberg, Cape Town almost 30 years ago, it was always my dream to build a home on a deep water marina in the Western Cape. Having spent years’ working in broadcasting and running my own business, this dream was finally realised in April 2011 when I completed the building of Le Marina on Admiral Island, Port Owen.

The house was designed to be able to operate as a bed and breakfast with the upstairs section of 150 square metres being utilised as two en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own private patio leading off the room and overlooking the waterways of the marina. In addition, guests can enjoy the large communal upstairs bar / pool table / TV corner and undercover patio with braai.

Downstairs is our living area, together with our two dogs – a Miniature Schnauzer and a Golden Labrador. We are completely separate and our guests enjoy their total privacy unless there is anything at all that is needed and we’re then just a knock on the door away.
