Situated in the picturesque West Coast village of Jacobsbaai, we have been successfully farming with abalone since 1995. What started off as a dream has developed into a constantly expanding successful farming venture.
Our facilities include a state of the art hatchery and nursery that supplies the on-growing department with all the juvenile abalone needed to produce quality abalone for export. The main diet of our abalone is freshly harvested kelp and this is supplemented with artificial feed to ensure that they receive all the nutrients needed to grow into healthy abalone.
To ensure product safety our abalone is subject to testing by the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS). This includes testing for Biotoxins and Microbiological testing. Each shipment is accompanied by a health certificate to certify that our abalone is safe for human consumption.
